The World Dance Masters Line Dance Championships is our biggest and most highly anticipated championship event in the calendar year.

The World Dance Masters Line Dance Championships is our biggest and most highly anticipated championship event in the calendar year. 


Dancers from at least 25 countries travel to be with us every year to compete against the best, in the hope of winning a world title. 


This vibrant 3-day event is THE most prestigious dance competition of them all.


Join us on the Friday 26 - Sunday 28 July 2024 at the historic Winter Gardens Ballroom in Blackpool, England.

  • Solo

    Registration for solo divisions is £35


    Please Note: Should any division type be deemed unable to be run due to COVID-19 regulations (for instance, Pro-Am) then those registration fees will be refunded.

  • Pro-Am

    Registration for pro-am divisions is £35


    Please Note: Should any division type be deemed unable to be run due to COVID-19 regulations (for instance, Pro-Am) then those registration fees will be refunded.

  • Groups

    Registration for group divisions is £45

Competitor Registration for World Dance Masters 2024 opens 1 February 2024! Early ends 21st May and registration closes end of day Friday 7 June. As reminder, all competitors are required to hold a Competitor Weekend Pass for the event as well as pay a registration fee to compete. Details on booking entry tickets can be found here.

  • I want to compete, how do I qualify?

    Competitors from UK & Ireland must compete at two qualifying events in order to compete at World Dance Masters 2024.


    For competitors from all other countries, if World Dance Masters holds a sanctioned event in your country, you must dance at that event to compete. If your country does not have a qualifying event, you may enter Worlds without qualification.

  • Do I need to be a member of World Dance Masters?

    No membership is required. Anyone can compete at World Dance Masters. All you need to do is register for the division(s) you wish to compete in and meet the qualification criteria (where applicable).

  • What are the competition dances and divisions offered at World Dance Masters?

    Competition dances and divisions for World Dance Masters 2024 will be released around May 2024 and will be located here. 

  • When does competitor registration close?

    Competitor registration for World Dance Masters 2024 will close 7th June 2024. Early bird pricing will end on 24th May so book early to avoid increased prices.

  • As a competitor do I need to purchase a ticket too?

    Yes, all competitors will need to purchase a full weekend pass as well as their registration fees.


    Please note: If you are competing in Starter, Tiny Tots, or Rugrats you are entitled to a reduced fee entry pass. Please select the appropriate pass when purchasing your ticket.
