We have two amazing ballrooms at World Dance Masters dedicated to social dancing and workshops.

  We have an international line-up of renowned instructors, DJ's and artists across two social ballrooms at World Dance Masters 2026.

The Spanish Hall

Hosted by Rachael, Fred & Big Dave

The original social room - this ballroom caters for everyone - including advanced dancers. It is open all day for workshops and becomes the late night party room each evening! 

The Arena

Hosted by Michelle Risley

This ballroom is dedicated to mainstream line dance and is the perfect for dancers who enjoy the classics, great instruction, and live music. Everyone is catered for, whatever your ability.

The Pavilion

Hosted by Backroad Boots

We are excited to open a third social ballroom this year - the Pavilion. The Pavilion will be hosted by the incredible team at Backroad Boots, UK, who will host a series of workshops and social dancing across the weekend.


Tickets for Backroad Boots attendees are available for £90 for the weekend. These tickets provide access to the event from Friday evening to Sunday evening, access to workshops across the weekend, and social dancing in the Pavilion with familiar faces!

  • Social Adult Pass - £130

    Price: £130


    This is a full weekend pass for social dancers. It is an ALL ACCESS pass and gives access to all ballrooms at any time of the day - whether that is attending workshops in the Spanish Hall or Arena or watching the World Championships in the Empress Ballroom. Competitors should not purchase this pass.

  • Backroads Boots Pass - £90

    Price: £90


    This is weekend pass is for Backroads Boots social dancers. This pass gives access to the Pavilion from Friday evening (6 pm) to the end of the event including access to workshops in the Spanish Hall,  Arena, and Pavilion, plus watching the World Championships in the Empress Ballroom. Competitors should not purchase this pass.

  • Social Spectator Pass - £90

    Price: £80


    A Social Spectator Pass is perfect for dancers who want to take part in social evenings across all ballrooms, but who will not take workshops. This gives you access to all ballrooms each evening but does not give access to ballrooms hosting workshops (such as Spanish Hall & Arena) throughout the day.

  • Competition Pass with Workshops - £130

    Price: £130


    This is a full weekend pass for competitors (inc Choreography Competition competitors). It is an ALL ACCESS pass and gives access to all ballrooms at any time of the day - whether that is attending workshops in the Spanish Hall or Arena and competing in the World Championships in the Empress Ballroom. This is a pass for Competitors who want to attend workshops during the weekend.

  • What's included with a full weekend social pass?

    • Access to all ballrooms

  • When will the workshop schedules be released?

    All schedules will be released in the middle of July 2025.


    We usually open doors to the social ballrooms at 10 am each morning - starting from Friday. The day is filled with workshops across two main ballrooms and the competition in the Empress Ballroom. Workshops take place between 10 am and 5 pm. Evening social dancing typically starts around 8 pm until 2-3 am each morning.


    Don't forget to book the Monday off work, our famous closing party runs into the small hours of Monday morning!

  • Is the event suitable for beginners?

    Yes. We have 2 ballrooms dedicated to social dancers. You will find workshops and social dancing all weekend to suit every level at World Dance Masters. The Arena with Michelle Risley is well suited for all levels of dancing from beginners to advanced, whilst the Spanish Hall with Dave Baycroft usually caters more to intermediate and advanced dancers. 


    Both rooms have world-class DJs who will read the room and cater for their audience!

  • Is the event suitable for advanced dancers?

    Yes. We have 2 ballrooms dedicated to social dancers You will find workshops and social dancing all weekend to suit every level at World Dance Masters.


    The Spanish Hall Ballroom caters for the more advanced dancers. It is open all day and becomes the late-night room each evening! You’ll have a host of workshops throughout the day plus lots of social dancing into the early hours!

  • Can I watch the competition if I have a social ticket?

    Absolutely! Your social ticket gives you access to all ballrooms at any time of day.


    The Empress Ballroom is very large with lots of space for sitting down to watch the competition. Many social dancers like to come and watch at their leisure from the amazing balcony in the ballroom.


    From 2025, the competition starts on Thursday in the Empress Ballroom, so if you are arriving early, you could catch some of the competition here before the workshops get underway on Friday.

  • Do you offer group rates?

    Yes. We offer generous discounts for groups of 15 or more dancers. Please email tickets@wdm.dance for more information.

  • Can I cancel my ticket for a refund?

    Tickets are non-refundable or transferrable to another year's event, so please make sure you have insurance to cover any issues you may encounter that prevent you from attending.


    You can sell or gift your ticket to another dancer. If you do this, we can change the name on the ticket and reissue it. Please email tickets@wdm.dance for this to be actioned.
