  • The prices are different this year. Why?

This year we've had to increase our prices and change our pricing structure slightly.

We recently renewed our contract with the venue and this came with a significant price increase. On top of this, in the last year alone our costs have increased by 38% due to rising venue hire costs, equipment costs, and travel costs. We've tried to pass on as little of these increases as possible to you but as led to a 16% increase in ticket price.

With more than 25+ workshops, 18+ hours of evening social dancing, 25+ hours of competition, and a world-class produced show, we hope you still see the value for money - which we've always had top of mind for WDM!

  • Which pass should I buy?

Competitors must have a Competitor pass. If you are competing in the Line Dance Championships or the Choreography Competition, this is the pass for you. You can choose a Competition with Workshops Pass, which gives you access to all ballrooms all day, or a Competitor Only Pass, which will not allow access to the Spanish Hall or Arena during workshop hours. Choreography Competition competitors must have a Competition with Workshops pass.

Social dancers can choose from two passes. A Social Weekend with Workshops Pass which gives you access to all ballrooms all day, or a Social Spectator Pass, which gives you access to the Empress Ballroom during the day (to watch the competition) and evening access to Spanish Hall & Arena. Please note, the Choreography Competition takes place in the Spanish Hall in the day and to watch this you will require a Social Weekend with Workshops Pass.

  • Can I add virtual access to my ticket?

Yes! During checkout, you can add on Virtual Access so you can rewatch the competition and workshops at a discounted price after the event.

Your access will be activated on the Monday after the event finishes. You will not have access to the live feed during the event.

  • What is 'Fast Track' and how does it work?

Fast Track allows entry into our ballrooms 10 minutes prior to the advertised ballroom opening times. This enables time to enter the ballrooms and find a seat or table before the rest of the attendees.

Fast Track is limited to just 50 tickets and is an add-on that can be added to your ticket during checkout.

We learned a lot from Fast Track entry in 2023 and will use these learnings to make it as seamless as possible for 2024.

  • What is the event schedule?

All schedules will be released in the middle of July 2024.

We usually open doors to the social ballrooms at 10 am each morning. The day is filled with workshops across two main ballrooms and the competition in the Empress Ballroom. Workshops take place between 10 am and 5 pm. Evening social dancing typically starts around 8 pm until 2-3 am each morning.
