COVID SAFETY
While many countries, including the UK, have now removed any restrictions around coronavirus, we understand the virus is still active. We are setting some guidelines to our event that we encourage all attendees to follow to help protect themselves, their fellow dancers, and the World Dance Masters team
EVENT SAFETY MEASURES
Our guidelines to all dancers and attendees for World Dance Masters 2022 are listed below.
- If you feel ill prior to or during the weekend, do not attend. Whether or not your illness is COVID, it is best for you and your fellow community to remain at home in order to not pass on any infectious disease.
- Consider taking a lateral lateral flow COVID test prior to attending the event. If you test positive, please do not attend.
- Masks are optional and we ask all attendees to respect individual decisions whether to wear a mask.
- Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrances to ballrooms and we will have small sanitising bottles to hand for those that might required them.
- If you prefer not to be approached by others, considering wearing one of our 'Space Requested' badges, which will be available during wristband collection.
- We will limited printing. Schedules will be available via the scanning of QR codes or reading one of the schedules outside each ballroom.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. If you have symptoms, do not travel or enter the venue
If you are displaying any symptoms prior to the event, do not travel. If you develop COVID-like symptoms while in Blackpool, do not come to the venue.
If you require support when falling ill, you may contact the World Dance Masters team to seek help and we will guide you the best we can.
2. Sanitise often to avoid spreading germs
As a precaution, keep hand sanitiser with you at all times and use it often, especially after touching items in communal areas.
We will do our best to ensure there is sufficient cleaning products and cleaning taking place around communal spaces and water coolers.
3. Respect those deciding to wear a face covering
We are an inclusive organisation and respect everyone's individual decisions. We ask that all attendees respect any individual decision to wear a face covering. If you see someone wearing a face covering, please consider keeping a short distance away.
